I Will Fall For You
Belgian-Moroccan choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui captures a haunting duet between dancers Drew Jacoby and Matt Foley based on his 2015 ballet about displacement, love and memory. The dance visionary co-directed this video with French musician and visual artist Woodkid (Yoann Lemoine), for his melancholic track, Land of All.
"It's about interdependency, sharing and carrying each other forward, I felt that the song connected to a pas de deux I had been working on in which falling and recovery was a recurring theme; and I felt that the gender ambiguity and balance between surrendering and holding on gracefully would be a way to re-contextualize the lyrics." -Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui
